Job Summary
The IT Vendor Management Office (VMO) Analyst supports the operational execution of IT vendors and contingent workforce management across the technology organization. This role partners closely with IT delivery teams, Procurement, Finance, Portfolio Management, Cyber, Privacy and external vendors to ensure vendor demand is intake ready, sourcing, and onboarding activities are executed efficiently, vendor performance is monitored and managed, and financial and contractual controls are maintained.
This position also plays a critical role in providing visibility into vendor demand, spend, service levels, and operational risk across IT.
At the Analyst I level, the role focuses on execution, coordination, and data accuracy. At the Analyst II level, the role expands to include independent ownership of vendor activities, performance analysis, and process improvement support.
Key Responsibilities Technology Vendor Sourcing and Coordination- Support vendor demand intake by gathering and validating requirements from technology teams, including role scope, urgency, duration, budget, interview protocols and technical needs.
- Assist with requirements translation, partnering with technical leads and Procurement to convert technical needs into sourcing ready requirements.
- Route approved requests to approved vendors aligned to capability, geography, and contract type.
- Set expectations on SLAs and sourcing approaches based on role urgency and complexity.
- Coordinate vendor communications, timelines, and submission tracking; review candidate submittals against role requirements; and partner with hiring managers and vendor recruiters to coordinate interviews, consolidate feedback, and support selection decisions.
- Support resource forecasting activities by tracking contractor demand, extensions, and attrition across IT delivery teams.
- Support technical vendor evaluation activities, including preparation of documentation, scorecards, and evaluation inputs.
- Coordinate contractor candidate screening logistics, including resume tracking, interview scheduling, and consolidation of interview feedback.
- Support proof of concept (PoC) and pilot activities by tracking approvals, required documentation, and outcomes.
- Coordinate contractor onboarding activities to ensure timely start dates, including access readiness, VDI provisioning, compliance completion, and key stakeholder dependencies.
- Support and monitor the end to end Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle for contingent workforce requests, from PR creation through PO issuance, including renewals, extensions, and terminations to prevent service disruption.
- Serve as the primary day to day contact for staffing vendors, coordinating new demand, candidate submissions and interview logistics.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed upon SLAs on sourcing timeliness delivery, quality and financial controls.
- Support IT Partner Reviews through data preparation and follow up actions.
- Maintain vendor performance scorecards and tracking remediation activities and identify trends for leadership visibility.
- Support issue escalation and corrective actions with IT leadership, as needed.
- Track vendor related spend, contractor costs, renewals, and extensions to support budget alignment and forecasting.
- Support invoice verification by validating hours, roles, and rates against approved agreements and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records for vendor engagements, onboarding/offboarding, and financial transactions.
- Maintain IT VMO trackers, dashboards, and reports to provide leadership visibility on contingent labor footprint, vendor spend and risks/issues.
- Identify data quality issues, process gaps, and opportunities for standardization.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across vendor intake, onboarding, performance management, and financial controls.
- Support documentation of IT VMO processes, playbooks, and white glove guidance for IT stakeholders.
Required -
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
- Analyst I: 1 2 years of experience in IT operations, recruiting, vendor coordination, staffing operations support, or workforce management.
- Analyst II: 3 5 years of experience supporting IT vendor management, recruiting, contingent workforce operations, sourcing, or financial operations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple concurrent activities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI) and comfort working with operational data and KPIs.
