Data Analyst, Business Systems & Technology Analysis
Requirements Must have:
- We require 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration, or operations.
- We require 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, including vendor negotiations, global contract oversight, process enhancement, and operational and financial analysis.
- We require a bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical discipline.
- We require hands-on experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Python.
- We require experience in global supply chain management and in leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics environment.
- We prefer 4+ years of experience in program, project, product management, or leading product implementation initiatives.
- We prefer a masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- We prefer experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or similar technology organizations.
- We develop and execute sourcing strategies for construction services supporting our Americas data center buildout.
- We partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and lower costs.
- We build and manage supplier performance mechanisms and metrics to ensure accountability for delivery.
- We drive category outcomes through competitive bidding, negotiation, and analysis of data and market trends.
- We coordinate with multiple teams across our data center operations network and prioritize work that supports capacity availability and safety.
- We manage multiple initiatives with significant autonomy in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- We influence customers and suppliers at all levels while championing our Leadership Principles and entrepreneurial approach.
- We lead large-scale process improvement efforts and deliver measurable business value.
- We apply strong analytical, financial, and quantitative judgment to build business cases and support decisions.
- We work on projects locally and globally as part of our AWS Infrastructure Services organization.
We are Amazon Web Services (AWS), the worlds most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, and our Infrastructure Services team designs, plans, delivers, and operates all of our global infrastructure to keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment behind them. This position is based in Arlington, Virginia, with a listed annual base salary range of 79,500 to 139,100 USD, and our total compensation package also includes sign-on payments, RSUs, and comprehensive benefits such as health coverage, retirement matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
