Virtualization Engineer

Requirements

• We require an active Top Secret security clearance, with SCI eligibility preferred.
• We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise virtualization environments.
• We need hands‑on experience administering VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and Horizon.
• Experience supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops is required.
• We require experience with Windows Server administration.
• A strong understanding of enterprise storage, networking, and virtualization technologies is necessary.
• Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense environments is required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Preferred credentials include VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Citrix Certified Associate (CCA) or Professional (CCP), Security+, and Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with Power Shell automation is preferred.
• Experience supporting classified networks is preferred.
• Knowledge of DISA STIG compliance and cybersecurity best practices is preferred.

• We will administer and maintain enterprise VMware and Citrix environments.
• We will conduct infrastructure assessments and site surveys.
• We will install, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
• We will monitor system health, performance, capacity, and availability.
• We will apply software, firmware, security patches, and system updates.
• We will respond to critical incidents and deliver advanced technical troubleshooting.
• We will develop and maintain configuration documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and technical reports.
• We will collaborate with government personnel on infrastructure modernization efforts.
• We will produce performance reporting, capacity planning, and usage analysis.
• We will ensure compliance with DISA STIGs, FIPS 140-2, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
• We will support virtualization implementation projects and technology upgrades.
• We will conduct knowledge transfer sessions and technical training for government personnel.
• We will assist with hardware replacement, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• We will participate in on‑call and mission‑critical support as needed.

Dynamic VSolutions is hiring an experienced Virtualization Engineer to support the U.S. Army Command and Control Support Agency at the Pentagon. This is a fully onsite role in a highly secure Department of Defense environment, supporting mission‑critical enterprise infrastructure.
