Cybersecurity Engineer (RMF​/Zero Trust

Requirements Must have:

• We require a bachelors degree with 12 years of infrastructure or cloud engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
• We are looking for 5–10 years of cybersecurity experience.
• We need demonstrated expertise in the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• We require strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls.
• We are seeking experience designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures.
• We need proficiency with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• We expect hands‑on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
• We require experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• We are looking for a strong background in cloud security practices and technologies.
• We need experience implementing endpoint protection solutions and security automation.
• We require an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain DEA suitability.
• Preferred qualifications include Security+ (DoD 8570/8140), CISSP, CISM, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or AWS/Azure security certifications.

• We implement cybersecurity controls aligned with RMF and NIST standards.
• We support system authorization, assessment, and continuous monitoring activities.
• We design Zero Trust architectures and security solutions.
• We perform vulnerability management and remediation.
• We implement identity, access, endpoint, and network security controls.
• We conduct security assessments and risk analysis.
• We develop security documentation and compliance artifacts.
• We support incident detection and response activities.

We are hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer focused on RMF and Zero Trust to help design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions that protect enterprise systems while supporting compliance with federal security frameworks and risk management requirements. This is a hybrid/remote role based in Arlington, Virginia. The posted salary range is USD $220,000 to $240,000 per year.
