Job DescriptionHII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Policy Analyst to support the Department of War (DoW) Chief Information Officer (CIO).
We are seeking a skilled Senior Telecommunications Policy Analyst to support DoW CIO. In this role, the Senior Analyst will research, analyze, and develop policy recommendations related to spectrum management, satellite communications, emerging telecommunication technologies, and governance.
This position requires a SECRET level security clearance and will work onsite in Arlington, VA.
Salary for this position will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skill set, while also considering internal equity and market competitiveness.

EssentialJob Responsibilities
- Support the development, review, and coordination of telecommunications-related policies in alignment with Department of War objectives and national security directives.
- Ensure policies are clear, fact-based, and consistent with external guidance (e.g., DoW, Executive Orders)
- Analyze internal and external telecommunications documents to assess DoW policy impacts, conflicts, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations for leadership and decision-makers on telecommunications policy issues, compliance status, and strategic recommendations.
- Translate technical findings into actionable policy recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- LEVEL 2 - 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field.
- LEVEL 3 - 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field.
- LEVEL 4 - 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field.
