Scrum Master II

• Guide and coach Scrum Teams on Agile values, principles, and the Scrum Framework
• Protect development teams from outside influences and remove impediments
• Build a trusting and safe environment focused on problem-solving
• Facilitate work completion without coercion, assignment, or dictation
• Assist with internal and external communication, transparency, and information sharing
• Support and educate the Product Owner on refining and ordering the product backlog
• Ensure the product backlog is visible and prioritized toward business value
• Facilitate Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives
• Empower teams to become self-organized
• Support delivery of business value and increase business agility

• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, across multiple teams/products

• Proficiency with Agile delivery tools such as TFS, Jira, or Azure Dev Ops

• Knowledge of product and sprint backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, and velocity

• Ability to facilitate SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, SOS, PO sync, and inspect and adapt
• Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias
• Experience integrating AI into workflows
• Familiarity with AI-assisted research, summarization, and content generation
• Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data protection
• 2–4 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM or PSM) or PMI-ACP
• Bachelor’s degree or additional equivalent work or military experience preferred
• No visa sponsorship available

Demonstrates strong expertise in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with a focus on coaching teams to enhance collaboration and deliver business value. Proficient in facilitating Agile ceremonies and utilizing Agile delivery tools to support continuous improvement and team self-organization.
