The Supply Planner for Purchased Products is responsible for planning, analyzing, and executing inventory and replenishment strategies for purchased finished goods and materials. This role ensures supply plans align with forecasted demand, inventory targets, and customer service requirements through effective Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory analysis.

This role partners closely with Sales, Product, Demand Planning, Logistics, and Operations to ensure product availability, inventory health, and successful product lifecycle execution.

• Execute and maintain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and replenishment plans for purchased products to align supply with forecasted demand and inventory policies
• Monitor MRP exceptions, projected shortages, and past due supply; proactively drive planning actions to mitigate service risk
• Review demand forecasts and adjust supply plans to prevent stockouts, excess inventory, or aged materials
• Establish and maintain safety stock and reorder parameters based on demand variability, lead times, and service objectives

• Analyze SKU level demand, inventory, and supply performance to drive databased replenishment decisions
• Identify slow moving, obsolete, excess, or at-risk inventory and recommend corrective action plans
• Maintain inventory accuracy by reviewing on hand balances, open orders, and system planning signals
• Support inventory reduction, working capital, and service level improvement initiatives

• Create and manage purchase orders in the ERP or planning system in accordance with approved supply plans
• Track open purchase orders and inbound supply; follow up on past due or at-risk deliveries
• Communicate delivery risks and revised availability dates to internal stakeholders
• Coordinate supply execution with logistics and customer service teams to support customer commitments
