Description
You will be the Subcontract Management Associate for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high‑quality products to our customers, coordinating across engineering, logistics, finance, and external partners to make every piece of the puzzle fit together.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Subcontract Management Associate you will be responsible for overseeing subcontract activities that keep the supply chain moving efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure on‑time delivery of high‑quality products.
- Coordinate efforts across engineering, logistics, finance, and external partners.
- Manage subcontractor performance and compliance.
- Resolve issues to keep the supply chain uninterrupted.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 1 years of professional experience; or a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
- Experience in business related role.
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and contracting types.
- In depth knowledge of all types of contracts and how to utilize which type in various program scenarios.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and changes in deadlines.
- Experience with long‑form subcontracts utilizing Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP).
- Aerospace program negotiation skills and experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced team environment and work well under pressure.
- Experienced presenter to Program Management and Customer representative.
- Self‑Motivated with a demonstrated sense of urgency and ownership, and accountability for tasks/assignments.
- Strong communication skills with ability to interface with all levels of management.
- Ability to be flexible and accept change.
- Must be able to resolve complex problems in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in dynamic work environment; ability to analyze a problem and recommend solutions by exercising sound problem solving skills.
- Experience in Defense, government or aerospace.
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Part‑time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
