** Summary
* * The position requires the incumbent to research and select vendors to solicit quotes and issue purchase order of medium dollar value and complexity supporting USG and Non-USG contracts. Typical procurements relate to less complex build-to-print assemblies that require specifications and drawings and COTS software licenses.#
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Discuss price, delivery and vendor/supplier capability with internal customers
* Researches and identifies potential vendors/suppliers
* Negotiates price and delivery for responsible commodities
* Administrates and maintains purchase orders in compliance with approved procedures
* Establishes and maintains good vendor relationships and satisfies internal customers
* Experience with purchase order file documentation that is fully compliant with all required elements to maintain a successful Contractor Purchasing Systems Review (CPSR)
* Partners with Supplier Quality and Shipping/Receiving as it relates to poor quality, order in consistences and damaged products
* Other duties as assigned#
** Qualifications and Education Requirements
*** High school diploma and 3-5 years experience; or BA/BS Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operation Management or related field.#

* MRP Knowledge, Cost Point
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
* Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.#
