Senior Buyer

Responsible for the procurement of specialized items and executing buying complex strategies i

naccordance with agreed upon material buying plans at the optimum cost/quality relationship

.Analyzes market and industry conditions and implements and develops alternate supplier

srecommendations. Typically purchases large weldments from machine shops in addition to al

lother items. Negotiates select contracts. Interacts with sales representatives and vendors. Ma

ycoach lower-level Buyers. This is a senior level buyer who is typically directly responsible t

opurchase $10 to $25 million per year in raw materials/goods. Requires a Bachelors Degree and

aminimum of 5 years of relevant experience

  Production & Purchasing Execution:
  Serve as a point of contact for production purchasing
