Position Summary

A-A Arlington Abandoned Vehicle is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Night Dispatcher to coordinate nightly towing operations, assist customers and drivers, maintain accurate tow records, and ensure all required duties are completed before the end of each shift.

The Night Dispatcher serves as a key point of communication between customers, drivers, property managers, and the towing operation. This position requires strong attention to detail, professional communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls regarding vehicle pickups, property managers, new business inquiries, auctions, and general questions.
  • Assist registered owners, third parties, and lienholders with vehicle releases.
  • Process vehicle releases and complete and upload all required documentation.
  • Dispatch new tow orders to drivers through Omadi.
  • Complete the daily driver checkout log, including truck and gas card information.
  • Review completed Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
  • Dispatch sign orders and upload required property photographs.
  • Log and maintain vehicle keys accurately.
  • Submit required APD tow notifications within established time requirements.
  • Verify and audit tow information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Run Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) and import information into Omadi.
  • Audit data transferred from ADD
    123 to Omadi.
  • Add applicable fees and update MVR and lien information as required.
  • Coordinate with drivers regarding pickups, properties, and operational questions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dispatch office.
  • Provide an accurate end-of-shift turnover to daytime dispatch, including outstanding activity, vehicles on the yard, and items requiring follow-up.
  • Follow all company procedures, policies, and management direction.

  • Maintain professional and respectful communication with customers, drivers, property managers, law enforcement, and other parties.
  • Remain attentive and engaged throughout the shift.
  • Accurately and timely complete all assigned work.
  • Follow company procedures, TDLR regulations, and management direction.
  • Ask for clarification when additional instruction is needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License:
    Must possess a current and valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • TDLR VSF License:
    Must have or obtain a valid TDLR Vehicle Storage Facility (VSF) License. Application will be processed online and paid for by A-A Arlington Abandoned Vehicle.
  • Availability:
    Must be available to work assigned overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Professionalism:
    Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to interact respectfully with property managers, law enforcement, vehicle owners, drivers, and customers.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    Must adhere to all company policies, TDLR regulations, and applicable safety protocols.
  • Technology

    Skills:

    Basic understanding of GPS, dispatch systems, and the ability to use a smartphone or tablet for call management, documentation, and photo uploads.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Ability to accurately enter, review, audit, and maintain towing and vehicle records.
  • Reliability:
    Punctual, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Organization:
    Ability to manage multiple calls, dispatch requests, records, and operational tasks in a fast-paced overnight environment.
