A private equity-backed platform in the property restoration and reconstruction industry is seeking a strategic, hands-on Regional Director of Operations to lead a multi-location business with $50M+ in annual revenue. This executive will be responsible for driving operational excellence, overseeing P&L, and scaling a field services business across multiple markets.
About the Role
This role involves leading a multi-location business, ensuring operational excellence, and driving growth in the property restoration and reconstruction industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across multiple branches, ensuring performance, efficiency, and safety standards are met.
- Implement scalable systems, metrics, and playbooks to ensure consistency in service delivery and growth execution.
- Align field operations, sales, and support functions to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and margin management.
- Monitor KPIs across branches and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to drive EBITDA growth.
- Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team of branch managers, project managers, sales leads, and field technicians.
- Establish performance-based culture with a focus on continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.
- Participate in recruiting and succession planning for critical roles across the organization.
- Partner with the CEO and PE sponsors on strategic initiatives including organic growth, geographic expansion, and M&A integration.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities in commercial, residential, and multifamily restoration markets.
- Represent the business with key clients, insurance partners, and vendors.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of leadership experience in restoration, construction, environmental services, or a related field.
- Proven success owning P&L in a $30M+ multi-location service business.
- Strong track record of scaling teams and driving process improvement.
- Deep operational expertise with sales alignment and customer retention mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment with clear KPIs and growth targets.
- Experience with restoration tools/software (e.g. Xactimate, DASH) a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent operational training preferred.
