We are seeking a hands‑on Site Operations Manager to lead the daily management and operation of our data centers. You will be responsible for the overall site environment, equipment reliability, team supervision, and maintaining strong relationships with local partners. This is a key role for ensuring operational excellence and the smooth, safe, and efficient running of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the data center, including shift scheduling, team supervision, and facility safety.
- Supervise and support the on‑site team in server deployment, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
- Conduct regular site walkthroughs, equipment inspections, and ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures.
- Manage asset inventory, perform routine audits, and ensure the accuracy of asset records.
- Respond quickly to incidents and equipment issues, coordinate repairs with internal and external technicians, and minimize downtime.
- Oversee facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, and security systems, and manage vendor relationships for essential services.
- Serve as the main on‑site contact for utility providers, contractors, and government agencies; maintain positive local community relations.
- Compile and submit regular site reports; monitor operational KPIs and drive improvements in efficiency and reliability.
- Support company growth by training new staff and assisting with the setup of new data center sites as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Proven experience in data center, facility, or plant operations management preferred.
- Strong hands‑on skills in site operations, equipment troubleshooting, and team leadership.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to work shifts, travel as needed, and handle high‑pressure situations.
- Experience in large‑scale facility management and/or knowledge of blockchain technology is a plus.
- Willing to be based in Texas or North Dakota and relocate as needed within the U.S.
