We are seeking a Systems Architect to support critical DoD initiatives. This position is 100% onsite at Rosslyn, VA and focuses on applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles while ensuring architectural consistency across complex defense ecosystems.
ResponsibilitiesLead the development of system architectures in alignment with enterprise objectives.
Establish standardized guidelines for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital twins, and digital threads integration.
Apply best practices using frameworks such as DODAF and UAF to support architecture modeling.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain a cohesive system model.
Utilize tools like Innoslate or similar modeling software to build out architecture documentation.
Contribute technical insight and guidance to strategic planning efforts at the OSD- or Command-Level within DoD.
Requirements Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
5–10 years of experience in systems architecture or systems engineering.
Experience translating system requirements into architecture models and technical solutions.
Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Familiarity with enterprise systems, lifecycle planning, and configuration management.
Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with DODAF and/or UAF frameworks.
Experience with Innoslate or equivalent MBSE tools.
Hands‑on experience implementing MBSE, digital twins, and digital threads in complex environments.
Prior experience supporting OSD-level or Combatant Command-level DoD programs.
