Position: Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level 3)

You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level
3) for the Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) PAC-3 Program Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality missile production.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level
3) you will be responsible for supporting the Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) PAC-3 Program Manufacturing Engineering team in delivering high‑quality missile production.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead Production Line Validations (PLV) for new and existing suppliers and coordinate Notices of Change (NOC).
  • Build and maintain the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM).
  • Use data analytics to make informed decisions and develop continuous‑improvement solutions.
  • Foster customer relations, building rapport and confidence between Production Operations, Program, and Customer.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and production personnel, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline
  • Manufacturing Background
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • Process Improvement experience
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical process issues
Desired Skills
  • Proposal experience
  • SAP or S4 experience and/or an MRP production control system
  • PAC-3 experience
  • Experience presenting to executive audiences
  • Experience using Data Analytics to optimize processes
  • Experience establishing/improving Manufacturing Build Sequences
  • Experience with complex missile subassemblies and Bill of Materials

Ability to Work Remotely: Part‑time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
