Job Summary:

Perform a multitude of assembly types, including mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical tasks. Must be willing to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites and to areas eligible for hazard pay.

• Perform non‑routine production assembly operations on electronic assemblies, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and cable assemblies/wiring harnesses.
• Use common hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Determine methods and sequences of assembly/integration operations when complete information may not be readily available.
• Use engineering sketches, diagrams, schematics, and drawings to guide work.
• Fabricate, assemble, modify, and rework subassemblies and assemblies, and integrate system hardware.
• Participate in device tear‑down, removal, and field installation tasks, including overseas travel up to 6–8 weeks as required.
• Work shift schedules, including swing, second, and third shift, and as needed overtime.
• Use Microsoft Office Word and Excel for documentation.
• Close applicable Manufacturing Order (MO) routing steps on both hardcopy and Deltek Costpoint® and generate Nonconforming Material Reports (NMRs) when necessary.
• Assist in collecting data for Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) on issues discovered during assembly/build/integration processes.

• High school diploma minimum; applicable experience in electrical and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
• Knowledge of engineering sketches, diagrams, schematics, and drawings.
• Experience with hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
• Team‑first/teamwork attitude.
• Current passport is desired and required for overseas travel.
• Ability to work long periods standing, stooping, bending, and lift 40–50 pounds without restrictions.
• Current DoD Secret clearance, or ability to obtain one without concerns or issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 75–80% of the time, including CONUS and OCONUS duties.
• Shift availability:
  Day – 1st, with potential swing/second shift as needed.
