Meat Cutter Boneless

We are hiring a Meat Cutter in Arlington, TX. Starting pay: $19/hr.

Responsible for portioning and merchandising all boneless meat products.

• Work with supervisors and production managers to schedule production.
• Clean, trim, slice, and portion subprimals of beef, pork, lamb and veal for future processing.
• Inspect meat products for defects, bruises or blemishes.
• Accurately read and comprehend all customer‑specific special instructions.
• Perform quality‑control checks and communicate defects to supervisors and managers.
• Separate meats and by‑products into specified containers and seal them.
• Use knives, cleavers or other equipment to perform meat cutting and trimming.
• Weigh meats and tag containers for weight and contents.
• Follow company’s detailed product specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Working knowledge of production equipment.
• Ability to portion all boneless cuts of meat accurately and timely.
• Ability to reduce processing costs while meeting customer specs.
• Problem‑solving skills for trimming and product substitutions.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure, challenging environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Understanding of the Meat Buyer’s Guide specifications relative to the company’s internal product specs.
