* You will be the Manufacturing Planner, Sr   Level 3  for the PAC‑3 Japan Team  Our team is responsible for owning and maintaining the schedule for contractual deliverables

** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Manufacturing Planner, Sr   Level 3  you will be responsible for coordinating schedule activities and ensuring timely delivery of program commitments

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

+ Act as Scheduler, Make, Buy, or BOM Planner within Production, Planning and Control

+ Coordinate inter‑departmental activity with quality, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, and contracts administration

+ Schedule and expedite movement of parts via move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests

+ Travel and communicate with all production sites and vendor locations as needed

+ Provide coverage outside normal operating hours to meet schedule demands

MUST BE A U S  CITIZEN   This position is located at a facility that requires special access  The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance  A company sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start

* Basic Qualifications:

*
* - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education

- Ability to obtain a security clearance  An Interim Secret clearance is required prior to starting

- Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs

- Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing

- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving,

and multitasking skills

- Experience with SAP

** Desired

Skills:

* - Inventory Control and material handling knowledge

- Experience with material requirements and

- Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas

- Green Belt trained / certified

- Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists

- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management  CPIM  certification

- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning  ERP  and/or Material Management and Accounting System  MMAS

** Security Clearance Statement:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility  The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process

** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees   Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed   These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits

** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
