Print Finishing Production Specialist

Job Description

We're looking for a Print Finishing & Production Specialist who takes pride in quality work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working with their hands. This role focuses heavily on finishing and fabrication rather than operating printers. Experience in sign shops, print shops, vehicle wrap shops, graphics production, or related manufacturing environments is highly valued.

Mon‑Fri 8AM‑5PM

• Operate finishing equipment including Summa, Colex, and CWT cutting systems
• Finish wide‑format graphics and signage for shipment and installation
• Perform banner finishing including trimming, hemming, heat welding, grommet installation, and packaging
• Laminate printed graphics using roll laminators and finishing equipment
• Weed and mask vinyl graphics for production and shipment
• Apply transfer tape and premask to cut vinyl graphics
• Mount graphics to rigid substrates including PVC, ACM, foam board, acrylic, and corrugated plastic
• Assist with routing, cutting, fabrication, and assembly of signs and display products
• Package and prepare orders for pickup, delivery, and shipment
• Perform quality control inspections throughout the finishing process
• Assist with material handling and inventory organization
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance concerns proactively
• Help identify workflow improvements that increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Keep workstations, equipment, and production areas clean and organized
• Assist other departments as needed to maintain production schedules and customer deadlines

• Previous experience in sign manufacturing, print finishing, sign fabrication, vehicle wraps, graphics production, or related manufacturing environments preferred
• Experience with banner finishing, vinyl application, laminating, mounting, or digital cutting equipment strongly preferred
• Experience with Summa, Colex, or CWT cutting systems is preferred
• Experience with Zund, Kongsberg, Graphtec, or similar finishing equipment is a plus
• Ability to read job tickets and follow production instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
