ASSEMBLER / SEQUENCER 1ST SHIFT

JOB SUMMARY: The assembler or sequencer position will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment/station directly to the direct supervisor. The role may include repetitive lifting, twisting and bending in a factory setting and provides hands‑on, day‑to‑day technical interaction within automotive manufacturing.

Starting pay: $17.50 per hour

Schedule:

Monday‑Friday 6:00 AM – 2:15 PM, Saturday 6:00 AM – 3:15 PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assemble goods on production lines following applicable work instructions.
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
  • Follow the company’s philosophies and values at all times.
  • Maintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping in work areas and equipment.
  • Adhere to safe work practices at all times.
  • Monitor the production process and assist the team in achieving production goals.
  • Ensure that all production and quality systems are followed at all times.
  • Ensure that information is communicated and acted upon, allowing the team to make appropriate decisions to focus on necessary improvements.
  • Help the team meet customer expectations.
  • Feed raw materials into production machinery.
  • Store goods and raw materials properly in the warehouse.
  • Use lifting equipment to fulfill orders.
  • Pack goods to be shipped.
  • All other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

  • Able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
  • Effective interpersonal interaction skills.
  • Able to work on feet for extended periods.
  • Flexible to work any shift and weekends when required.
  • Highly motivated with an interest in manufacturing.
  • History of safe work practices.
  • Team player, flexible and adaptable.
  • Can lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Can stand for 8–9 hours a day.
  • Can work close to other employees at stations (less than 3 feet apart).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good hand and eye coordination.
  • Ability to multitask and work quickly.
