Mittera is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our growing team as Fulfillment Specialists
. This entry‑level position does not require prior experience. Fulfillment Specialists process work orders, locate products, and pack orders for shipment in accordance with the production schedule and customer specifications.
- Pick and package a variety of materials that require a limited assortment of packing procedures and techniques.
- Place, arrange, mark, seal, and tag items on pallets and in containers, bins, and bulk storage.
- Consolidate various items for shipment in accordance with standard operating instructions.
- Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping.
- Count and sort various product items.
- Perform related tasks such as placing labels on packages and handling boxes in preparation for shipping.
- Ensure accurate shipping information is attached.
- Produce at quantity and quality levels in accordance with production requirements.
- Maintain area, worktables, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of routine picking procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures preferred.
- Skilled in reading specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability and ability to use various assembly tools.
- Basic arithmetic and ability to measure, count, and weigh products and materials.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Self‑motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented.
- Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bending.
- Can push/pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination.
- Requires near visual acuity.
- Requires working around and operating departmental equipment.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility.
- Can function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances.
