Location: Arlington, TX

Shift: Night Shift | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

Pregis is seeking a dependable and motivated Utility Production Associate to join our Arlington manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in supporting production operations by ensuring machine operators have the materials, supplies, and resources needed to keep production running efficiently.

What You'll Do

As a Utility Production Associate, you'll support production crews by preparing materials, maintaining inventory, organizing work areas, and ensuring equipment operators have everything they need to maintain production efficiency.

Production Support
  • Prepare and stage materials for upcoming production jobs
  • Assist machine operators during setups and changeovers
  • Ensure all required materials and consumables are available before production begins
  • Support production teams by delivering materials and supplies as needed

    Help minimize downtime by responding quickly to production support requests
  • Maintain production flow by ensuring crews have necessary resources throughout the shift
Inventory & Material Management
  • Maintain inventory of rollers, cylinders, bearings, glue pads, and other production consumables
  • Organize and manage inventory storage areas
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership when replenishment is needed
  • Coordinate the repair and reconditioning of production rollers
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing production materials
  • Accurately identify and store materials in designated locations
Equipment & Technical Support
  • Prepare mounting plates, glue pads, and make‑ready materials for machine setups
  • Change glue totes and support adhesive systems as needed
  • Assist with machine preparation and production support activities
  • Utilize hand tools and perform basic mechanical tasks when required
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that increase efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Support plant‑wide housekeeping and 5S initiatives
  • Maintain clean and organized production, warehouse, and storage areas
  • Ensure waste materials, oils, and consumables are properly stored and disposed of
  • Maintain solvent, adhesive, and consumable storage areas according to company standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Promote a clean, safe, and organized workplace
