What s the role
We’re looking for a Manager, Creative Strategy to join our Creative team at Brainlabs! The Manager of Creative Strategy will ensure creative strategy for our clients is on-trend, compelling, and grounded in measurable business impact. You will be responsible for executing creative roadmaps for our clients, managing creative assets, and creative strategy and direction from the moment the brief lands. You will own and manage project workflows, build timelines, and serve as the primary liaison between our design + animation team members and our clients.

What you do
- Develop and lead creative strategy for our clients, translating brand and performance objectives into concepts that are on-trend and built to convert, and providing frame-by-frame direction to our designers and animators.
- Own the creative testing roadmap: define hypotheses, prioritize what to test, and translate results into hooks, formats, and messaging that measurably improve creative performance.
- Write and refine platform-native ad copy, and serve as a strategic voice in client meetings, presenting creative strategy and direction with clear rationale tied back to performance objectives.
- Manage day-to-day project workflows, including timelines, deliverables for large-scale asset production, and creative reporting, while flagging potential obstacles early.
- Coordinate the flow of information between clients, creative production, and account teams to keep projects on budget and on schedule, and advise leadership on how to optimize scope and timelines.
Who you are
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years of creative strategy or creative direction experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent combination of academic and practical experience).
- Experience in retail media, e-commerce, or working with large-scale retail clients is highly preferred.
- Experience in a Marketing, Advertising, or Creative environments
- Strong real-world copywriting experience
- A portfolio or work samples demonstrating your creative direction and creative strategy work/thinking, alongside campaign outcomes
- Nice to have:
Project management experience, design and/or animation experience
Technical Skills
- High level of expertise in project management tools (e.g., Notion, Jira, Monday)
- Familiarity with Figma and Adobe Creative products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Expert in G Suite products (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets) and MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
