First United Methodist Church Arlington: Part-Time Children's Ministry Director

First United Methodist Church of Arlington is seeking a Director of Children's Ministry. We are seeking a creative & collaborative person with a contagious, motivated faith to lead our children and their families into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and to equip, encourage, and resource parents to raise their children in the faith.

The position of Director of Children's Ministry will be a member of our energetic and highly motivated Family Ministries Team, and focus on all aspects of Children's Ministry (Kinder through 6th grade) including weekly programming & discipleship, equipping volunteer leaders, shaping opportunities for service, engagement with parents, and more. This position is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating and delivering programs and activities for children, as well as directing multiple community events throughout the year that provide touchpoints to our community neighbors.

This position also includes an expectation of serving alongside our children & families, while focusing on reaching out and creating an environment of growth for new families with children.

The Director of Children's Ministry will be a vital member of our team that focuses on loving God and loving people, as we seek to grow into our hopeful future. This position requires compliance with our Ministry Safe policies.
