Nurse Manager - Outpatient Surgery

Schedule:

Shift: 08:00-20:00 (Mixed, Rotating Weekends)

Requirements:
- 2+ years of recent acute care leadership Surgical Services experience required
- 3-5 years of experience as a staff nurse in the operating room or other surgical area
- BSN required
- TX RN License or RN Compact State License
- BLS from approved HCA vendor
- ACLS from approved HCA vendor (must be maintained if currently held, obtain within 6 months of hire if not)
- PALS from approved HCA vendor (must be maintained if currently held, obtain within 6 months of hire if not)

Roles & Responsibilities :
- Maintain 24-hour responsibility for the supervision, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit.
- Coordinate and supervise the activities for the unit, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of care.
- Assist the Director in implementing Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/procedures, and in the financial management of the unit.
