Monday–Thursday | 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
At Twilight Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Night On-Call Hospice Nurse
. This role is essential in providing after-hours triage, clinical support, and urgent patient visits across our hospice service area.

The Night On-Call RN will be responsible for:
- Answering and triaging all after-hours hospice calls
- Providing clinical guidance to patients, families, and facility staff
- Making urgent or necessary visits after hours when required
- Supporting patients across multiple care settings
Patient locations span throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex
, including:
- Private homes
- Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
- Assisted Living (AL)
- Independent Living (IL)
- Group Homes
- Other contracted community settings
- Respond promptly to all after-hours calls and triage needs appropriately
- Provide symptom management guidance and emotional support
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
- Perform after-hours visits for symptom crises, death visits, or urgent needs
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation per hospice standards
- Maintain professional, compassionate communication with families and facility partners
This position includes a competitive after-hours pay model:
- Daily On-Call Stipend (Monday–Thursday nights)
- Additional Per Diem Visit Pay for any patient visits completed after hours

Qualifications- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of one year of experience in hospice experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
- Valid State Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Position: PRN Monday-Thursday 5p to 8a.
