As an RN with Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, you'll collaborate with diverse healthcare professionals and encounter a variety of workplace practices, new technologies, and distinctive leadership approaches. Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• At least one year of recent PACU experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment skills and ability to respond quickly to patient needs
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to new settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide vigilant care for patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures
• Monitor vital signs and assess for post-operative complications
• Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document patient status and interventions thoroughly and accurately
• Educate patients and families on recovery protocols and post-procedure care
• Respond to emergent situations as part of the on-call rotation
