3rd Shift Occupational Health Registered Nurse (BH-398045)

Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for a 3rd shift, per-diem contract opportunity with Yoh’s well-known manufacturing client located in Arlington, TX. Clinic is primarily open Monday–Saturday, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Main need is 3rd shift, weekends, with additional flexibility required for the rest of the week.

Provide emergency care, first-aid, and episodic treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, within standing orders. This position requires knowledge of prevention of illness & injury, protection from work‑related and environmental hazards, and promotion and restoration of health. RN will maintain accurate records related to OSHA, Workers’ Compensation, and corporate reporting.

SCHEDULE/SHIFTS (made at least 2 months in advance typically)
  • 1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm (Saturdays 2:00 pm to 12:00 am)
  • 3rd shift (MAIN NEED): 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
Top Skills You Should Possess
  • Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Nurse in an Occupational Health, Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, Corrections, School Nursing, and/or Family Practice type setting
  • Flexible, adaptable, reliable, friendly, and helpful employee
  • High level of initiative and sound independent judgment
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for sick or injured employees
  • Promote wellness/wellbeing initiatives at the site
  • Provide medical testing such as drug screens, vision testing, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, and perform limited interpretation of tests
  • Interface with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner
  • Charting/documentation of care using EMR system (Cority)
  • Assist plant physician in minor surgical procedures
  • Respond to medical emergencies on the campus, as needed
What You Need to Bring to the Table
  • Must be able to work at a minimum of 4 shifts per month and at least 1 Saturday shift. Really seeking full flexibility to work 0‑5 shifts per week, depending on the needs of the business. Heavy focus on weekend work and 2nd/3rd shift.
  • Current CPR/BLS
  • Computer skills with previous experience using EMR (Cority experience a plus)
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
