Medical City Arlington

Shift: Full-Time, Days (7-10 hr. days) with rotating weekends

This position may be eligible for a sign‑on bonus of up to $20,000.

As a Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the delivery of nursing care for all patients coming to the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Neuro Intervention and EP Lab
  • Performs nursing assessment/diagnosis/care plan/implementation of treatment/evaluation of treatment for all patients
  • Administers treatment/medication/procedures within scope of practice; participates in coordination of care with Cardiac Cath Lab Management, departmental staff, physicians and ancillary services.
  • Authorized to access secure drug and biological storage areas after completing a medication management orientation and when necessary to perform the assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
