Medical City Arlington – Registered Nurse (Labor and Delivery)

Shift: PRN – Nights

Job Summary

The Labor and Delivery RN delivers professional nursing care to all patients in the Fetal Diagnostic Center and Labor and Delivery. Responsibilities include assessment, acuity assignment, application of the nursing process, and oversight of nursing staff and students. The RN will provide comprehensive care for patients across all ages and conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage efficient flow of patients including screening and preparation for exams.
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
Qualifications
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners (compact license accepted).
  • Current BLS‑Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery acute care experience (1+ year experience required; 2+ years preferred).

Full vaccination or approved exemption for COVID‑19 required by local, state, and/or federal law.
