Nights (Rotating Weekends) – Licensed Vocational Nurse – Med/Surg

Medical City Arlington invites applicants to join our team as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a nights position with rotating weekends. You will provide safe, high‑quality care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.

As a LPN/LVN at HCA Healthcare, you’ll deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care, support RN and provider teams, and help patients recover in a high‑acuity environment.

• Provide focused nursing care for patients with complex needs by administering medications, managing lines or drains, and assisting with interventions such as cardiac monitoring or respiratory support.
• Observe patients closely for subtle changes in status—including shifts in heart rhythm, oxygen levels, or neurological signs—and escalates concerns promptly.
• Document timely, accurate updates to coordinate the care team effectively.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and recovery steps.
• Collaborate closely with RNs, providers, and specialists to stabilize patients and guide them toward recovery.

• LPN/LVN license required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational school graduate status obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
