This position does take call. Candidates need to live within 30 minutes of the facility.

Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the diagnostic Imaging patient. Use therapeutic communication in daily practice. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual patients. Evaluate the effectiveness of the nursing process. Provide emotional support of the patient and significant others to make informed choices regarding health care.

Delegate tasks to the appropriate caregiver. Participate in Diagnostic Imaging specific initiatives and process improvement. Promote a supportive Diagnostic Imaging environment. Provide supervision of new employees, patient care assistant, vocational nurses, nurse technicians, student nurses and/or nurse externs. Maintain high quality (age specific) care for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, as assigned. Support the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• No Travel Required
• No experience Required
