Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical unit to provide exceptional patient care and support in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of adapting to fast-paced environments and delivering evidence-based nursing interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies following safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, medication management, and health maintenance.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
