Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position in Arlington, Texas. This role involves providing patient care on a 30-bed unit specializing in post-surgical, pain management, and patient stabilization. The selected candidate will deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with the support of experienced staff and advanced equipment.
Job Details- Schedule:
Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week - Required Qualifications:
Valid RN license, BLS certification, 3 years of clinical experience in med/surg or acute care, and based in the specified location - Preferred Qualifications:
Medsurg/acute care experience, previous HCA experience - Float:
Float rotation may be required - Additional Information:
The unit utilizes EMR Meditech electronic medical records, Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, and Sara steady equipment. Typical procedures include post-surgical care such as cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement, along with pain management and CIWA patients. The team values staff with a fast-paced, outgoing personality ready to adapt to a dynamic environment.
