Penny Paws Animal Clinic in Arlington, Texas, is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our weekend vaccine clinic. This part-time position is designed for a skilled, motivated veterinary professional who enjoys preventive care, connecting with clients, and working as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
- Perform blood draws and collect diagnostic samples for laboratory testing
- Administer vaccines, medications, and treatments as directed
- Safely handle and restrain patients of varying sizes and temperaments
- Assist veterinarians with patient care during vaccine and wellness appointments
- Obtain relevant patient histories and communicate information clearly to the veterinary team
- Maintain complete and accurate medical records
- Educate clients on preventive care recommendations and next steps
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for patient care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
- Collaborate with doctors and teammates to maintain an efficient patient flow
- Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-centered hospital culture
What You’ll Bring
- Previous Veterinary Technician experience
- Confidence performing blood draws and other routine technical procedures
- Knowledge of preventive care and vaccine protocols
- Safe and compassionate patient handling and restraint skills
- Strong communication and client-service skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
- Strong attention to detail and accurate medical recordkeeping
- Familiarity with veterinary practice-management software is a plus
- A commitment to providing outstanding patient care and client service
