Job Summary
The Electrical Engineering Department in the College of Engineering, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate.
In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Required QualificationsA postdoctoral research associate requires a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred QualificationsGood communication skills
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesA self-motivated postdoctoral research associate is required to conduct independent research on electronic materials and devices, in particular, perovskite photovoltaics, interpret experimental data and investigate the underlying physics of experimental results, design and fabricate novel electronic devices, and explore new technologies. In addition, it is required that a postdoctoral research associate should contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications, manage research projects, mentor graduate and undergraduate students, collaborate with other researchers.
Most importantly, postdoctoral research associate must publish research findings in peer-reviewed high-impact journals.
