Role Description

The General Manager In Development is a full-time, on-site role located in stores throughout North Texas and Oklahoma. This position is designed to prepare candidates for leadership within The Aaron’s Company. Daily responsibilities include managing overall store operations, leading and motivating a team, creating and executing business growth strategies, conducting market research, ensuring key sales targets are met, and maintaining excellent customer service.

The role offers the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge of all areas necessary to successfully manage a store.

Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills, including team leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in market research and strategic planning to identify and implement business opportunities.
  • Proven skills in sales and achieving business performance goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with teams and customers.
  • Ability to oversee retail operations and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Relevant experience in management, retail, or sales-related roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in business or management is a plus.
