Position
Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!
Pay $10.00 to $14.00 per hour plus a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process.

Position Summary
We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role involves greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and assisting with inquiries and problem resolution. The associate will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
The full-time position offers hourly wages plus commission based on productivity.
Responsibilities of a Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate
- Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and offer appropriate financial solutions.
- Perform non-management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Process sales and loan transactions following established policies and procedures.
- Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and regulations.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers; contribute to a positive customer experience.
- Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing and able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; flexibility to work various locations and shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work with firearms and become certified (where applicable).
- Must be able to work in exterior areas when required.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old;
High School Diploma or GED. - Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency.
- Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems.
Commission Plan Information
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. Details provided during the interview. Commission information is subject to change and may vary by location and duties.
