Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate

Salary: $10.00 to $14.00 per hour.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with all staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. Responsibilities include greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, while providing customer service and problem resolution. The role involves a wide variety of merchandise including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

• Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain the display of merchandise.
• Perform sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handle all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicate to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partner with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully complete the assigned training.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
• May be asked to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Detailed information will be provided during the interview process.
