We are currently looking for the right Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. Pay ranges from $10.00 to $14.00 per hour with commission based on productivity. The role includes processing sales, loans, and other transactions, and involves working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise.

• The best working hours in the business. Most stores open at 9AM and close at 6PM; many stores are closed on Sundays.

We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and much more.

The Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage, PLUS employees earn commission based on productivity. The successful Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate's pay is based on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in line with established policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Explains the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect.
• Partners with employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes required training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to work extended periods standing, walking, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, and other duties per law.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Should be able to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
