• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one–on–one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

• Under direct supervision, provide friendly, courteous and helpful service.
• Assist customers, clean, fill and rotate the cheese and deli displays in the Bulk Deli.
• Work morning shift replenishing product as instructed by the Bulk Deli Manager or Assistant Bulk Deli Manager.
• Assist customers throughout the entire shift.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the department throughout the shift.
• Handle physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, visual and auditory tasks.

• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
