Under direct supervision of Produce Manager, the Produce Clerk provides customer service, assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the perishable (produce) displays, and must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand, and stoop for prolonged periods.

• Provide customer service and assistance to customers.
• Clean, fill, and rotate perishable produce displays.
• Perform lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, standing, and stooping for extended periods.

• Read and write Spanish/English and interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but simple written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
• Retail Management Certificate.
