Overview

2020 Companies is hiring a full‑time Brand Representative to represent our client, Dell. The Brand Representative will primarily build relationships and brand awareness inside retail stores, cultivating excitement about the Dell brand and products. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create thoughtful and positive interactions with store associates and prospective customers.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail associates and shoppers to generate enthusiasm for Dell products.
  • Leverage those relationships to support selling, training, and merchandising of Dell products throughout the market.
  • Refresh product displays on a quarterly basis, ensuring all Dell‑branded fixtures are clean, functional, and in compliance with brand standards.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to visit retail stores, generate brand excitement, and support store leadership.
  • Conduct in‑store product demonstrations, answer questions, and provide hands‑on experience with Dell devices.
  • Provide training to front‑line store associates and managers on the latest Dell offerings and selling techniques.
  • Host shopper‑experience events and other store‑level engagement activities to drive sales.
  • Collect consumer insights weekly, providing data on competitor pricing, promotions, and customer sentiment.
  • Inspect branded displays and marketing materials, report findings, and collaborate with store leaders on merchandising or pricing solutions.
  • Maintain on‑site documentation of visits, activities, and best practices.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals and in‑store time goals; schedule visits at least two weeks in advance.
  • Perform independent, unstructured work while managing time effectively.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 6+ months previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred.
  • 6+ months successful training experience, preferably in direct marketing/retail environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong multitasking skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment.
  • Travel within 70 miles of the ideal market zip code with occasional travel to other markets; reliable transportation and state‑required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage.
