Green's Produce & Plants is a family‑run locally focused market with 50+ years of successful operation. The market is open‑air and has a farmer's market vibe. We sell local canned goods, produce, local meats and cheese plus a wide variety of plants.

The Assistant Produce Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Arlington, TX. This role supports the store manager in overseeing daily operations of the produce department, including receiving, rotating, and stocking fresh fruits, vegetables, and related items. The candidate will need to keep in mind this role involves patience, multitasking skills, attention to detail and flexibility with the schedule. This position works directly with customers to answer questions, provide product recommendations, and deliver friendly, efficient service.

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of inventory control and inventory management practices, including rotating stock, monitoring shrink, and assisting with ordering.
• Able to handle constructive criticism.
• Previous experience in produce.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and safely lift, move, and stock products as needed.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow procedures and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule; seasons change = schedule changes and possible overtime.
