The Sales Associate role at Kay Jewelers in Arlington, TX is a full-time, on-site position. The Sales Associate greets customers, learns their needs, and provides knowledgeable guidance on jewelry selection, sizing, care, and financing options. Daily responsibilities include assisting with sales transactions, maintaining product displays, keeping the store clean and organized, and ensuring merchandise is presented according to brand standards. The role also involves learning product features, following company selling practices, processing payments, handling returns and exchanges, and supporting inventory counts.

Sales Associates collaborate with store leadership and peers to meet individual and store sales goals while delivering consistent, high-quality customer service.

• Ability to deliver excellent face-to-face customer service, including active listening, clear communication, and a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Sales and retail skills such as engaging customers, recommending products, closing sales, and meeting or exceeding performance targets.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities, with accuracy in processing payments, applying discounts, and handling returns and exchanges.
• Attention to detail for maintaining visual merchandising standards, organizing displays, and caring for jewelry products.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment, including standing for extended periods, multitasking, and following store procedures.
• Reliability in attendance, schedule flexibility (including evenings, weekends, and holidays), and willingness to learn company policies and product knowledge.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to support colleagues, share information, and contribute to a positive store culture.
• Previous retail or customer-facing sales experience is preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
