Lee James Life, LLC is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth of our life insurance products. You will forge strong client relationships, uncover customer needs, and offer tailored life insurance solutions. This role is independent, involves meeting potential clients in various settings, and aims to achieve sales targets in a rewarding and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    Leverage our platform that targets qualified candidates seeking our life insurance products, focusing on client interactions.
  • Client Consultation:
    Conduct needs assessments to understand clients' financial goals and insurance needs; present and explain life insurance options.
  • Sales Presentation:
    Deliver presentations to individuals and groups; tailor content to address client concerns and preferences.
  • Relationship Management:
    Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships; conduct regular follow-ups for satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research:
    Stay informed about industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to position our products effectively.
  • Sales Reporting:
    Maintain accurate records of activities and progress toward targets; prepare reports for management.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies; maintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset; ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and flexibility in scheduling.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field is a plus.
  • Life insurance license or the ability to obtain one (we will assist with licensing).

Compensation
  • Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $/yr
  • Additional compensation:
    Annual Bonus and Commission
  • Bonuses are performance-based and paid monthly (on the 15th)
  • Residuals are paid on the anniversary date of the client’s sale
