Regional Food service Sales Manager – Compensation & Benefits

Regional Food service Sales Manager – Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in food service, retail, or CPG sales
  • Proven ability to grow territory revenue and market share
  • Experience managing distributor, broker, and operator relationships
  • Strong skills in account development, sales execution, and territory planning
  • Comfortable traveling 50–70% throughout the region
  • Experience with pricing strategy, promotions, and inventory management
  • Track record of winning new business while expanding current accounts
  • CRM, forecasting, and pipeline management experience
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills

    Ability to conduct ride-alongs, field visits, and in-market support
  • Highly organized with excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Comfortable working in warehouse, distribution, and kitchen environments
  • Ability to transport product samples up to 40 lbs
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive regional sales growth and execute territory strategies
  • Partner with distributors and brokers through regular meetings and ride-alongs
  • Deliver product presentations, training, and category insights
  • Monitor territory performance, forecasts, and sales activity
  • Maintain CRM updates and customer communication
  • Develop new distributor and operator partnerships
  • Support promotions, pricing programs, and product launches
  • Share market trends and competitive feedback with leadership
  • Represent the brand at trade shows and industry events
  • Coordinate product samples and sales support initiatives
Preferred Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Background selling into food service distribution and retail channels
  • Experience with frozen, specialty, or value-added food products
  • Must have Salesforce experience - a must
  • Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, Concur, or related systems
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven, competitive approach
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working within broker-driven sales models
  • Ability to excel in a fast-growing, high-energy organization
  • Passion for building long-term customer relationships
