** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Perform entry screening duties at a logistics and distribution location, including checking credentials, monitoring access points, and conducting package and/or property inspections as permitted by post orders.

+ Monitor alarms, gates, and screening equipment, and document unusual activity to help to deter unauthorized access and/or loss.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site leadership and/or public responders as required by post orders.

+ Complete patrols and routine checks of access points, staging areas, and the building perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
