Surefox North America Inc is a veteran‑owned company that strives to create a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking individuals with military, law enforcement, or security experience to join our team as a Resilience Officer. As a Resilience Officer (RO) you will act as an ambassador for Surefox and its clients while being responsible for ensuring the overall safety and security of our client’s employees and property, working on a variety of tasks and projects under the guidance of Shift Supervisors and Area Managers for our top clients.
Base Hourly rate: $22.00 - $24.00 / hour Part Time position
We are not offering visa sponsorship for this position at this time.
Responsibilities- Provide access control operations, including verifying proper credentials. This is a standing post.
- Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on‑site.
- Liaise with first responder personnel if and when there is an emergency.
- Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
- Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property.
- Prepare reports on accidents, incidents and suspicious activities.
- Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner.
- Work independently and adapt to various work‑paces while always maintaining a high level of attentiveness and energy.
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines.
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
- Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
- Must have or be in the process of obtaining a current guard card.
- Must have or be in the process of attaining a CPR/First aid certification from a recognized certification authority.
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- All applicants must be able to pass the Resilience Officer Physical Agility Test (ROPAT), with or without reasonable accommodation, prior to the scheduled start date.
- Experience as a security officer or in a security‑related position.
- Security or law enforcement related experience preferred.
- Military background is a plus.
- Report writing experience preferred.
