As a Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol Operations in Arlington, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic tech location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused corporate location.

* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate.

* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.

* Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations for visitors, vendors, and staff, following site protocols for sign-in, badge review, and escalation of security-related concerns.

* Support day-to-day operations by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, while providing professional assistance during routine activities and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

* Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.

* Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

* Be at least 21 years of age.

* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
